I knew it was coming eventually...I got floated to mother-baby last night. I got whatever vitals that were left then went and cried in the bathroom for a couple mins. It was so busy, they were gonna have to use some of the rooms in L&D. But after my mini-meltdown I went and was able to feed a really cute baby girl which really made my night. It felt so great to hold her, I didn't want to put her down! But, alas, the house supervisor called up to send me to ICU instead b/c they were really busy so I was only there a couple hrs, thank goodness, b/c I don't know how I would have lasted all night there, esp. having to go by the L&D rooms. I really, really, really, really miss babies. Now I'm just sad and blah.
