do you use a carrier car seat or a convertible car seat?

I use a carrier car seat, but I never take it out of the car. I babywear her everywhere. It came with the stroller we intend to use when she is older, so that's how we ended up with that type.

Carrier car seat, but I wear him in the moby for long errands like grocery shopping.  Might have to stop that soon though as he is starting to get heavy.  Once he outgrows his current seat, we will purchase a convertable seat he will hopefully use until he can be in the regular seat.
