I survived!

I went in for my half day at the office today and made it through!  I was so nervous when I first got there.  Felt like I had the "I lost my son" sign over my head but that happens anywhere I go.  I could tell some people avoided me.  A few gave me hugs. A few said it was great to see me and a few actually wanted to hear about Corbin and asked to see pictures.  I didn't cry once and only made one girl cry (but she has a son a little older than Corbin so it sort of hits home for her).  All in all it went fine but I'm looking forward to my nice normal day tomorrow of sitting on the couch with my laptop and working in sweats!

    Glad it went well! And it seems like everyone was sensitive to you. I'd definitely rather stay at home too! Hugs!!!

    Yay I'm glad it went well!  Totally feel ya on working from home, I'm supposed to be working from home now but I have to come in while my boss enjoys her trip to Costa Rica... ummm... not fair? Can't wait to be back on my couch with my laptop...

    Yay Im glad your day went good & you were able to get through it. Sounds like you have some good support at work & im sure the people who avoided you were just nervous that they might say the wrong thing or something. You are strong & good job :) HUGS

    Good for you, my first day was tough too and I cried three times, after that I've been better and busy and glad to see my coworkers and gossip and hang out with them. Being at home does not help  much.
