    I am shocked that Hugo got so many nominations.  I had read so many reviews saying it was not good at all.  It's probably b/c it's Martin Scorsese.

    Did you see it? I thought it was going to be animated for some reason, but we saw it anyway, and I really liked it. It wasn't animated. THe imagery was awesome.

    I didn't, but I did read the book.  I knew it wasn't going to be animated, but it just didn't appeal to me in movie-form for some reason and then all the reviews made me not want to pay to see it.  I'll add it to my Netflix queue.
