I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear about Sam. I've been MIA from these boards while we do all the moving stuff and I just saw your post last night. I'm so sorry he's gone, but I know that his life was full of love and happiness.

Re: ~*~Aluenna~*~
I can imagine how hard that would be. ((Big HUGS))
We just found out that we got the house and should hopefully be moving in on March 10. My surgery is tentatively scheduled for March 27th, pending my appointment with the hematologist, which I get to schedule tomorrow.
I also started the process of figuring out the fate of my ovaries today. I met with a geneticist and discussed testing, results and options. It's looking like I will likely be loosing them by the time I am 40 at the latest. The scary part was discussing C's risks. If I've passed the mutations to him, he has a 1 in 15 risk of male breast cancer in addition to an elevated risk of early onset, highly aggressive prostate cancer. But depending on my mom's results, there could be hope for a treatment that is proving effective in treating advanced stage breast and ovarian cancer in women with the mutation and with minimal side-effects.
