My exact thought last night as I was watching.  I thought for sure she was going to get the "pack your knives" when they called her name first.  I really don't understand why she was chosen over Lindsey.  Sarah's dish was very poorly executed, did the mere idea of it put her ahead?  Was it the huge glass of booze that gave her an edge?  (And if so, that's WEAK, judges.  Why have chefs make drinks?)

I think Lindsey would've at least been some competition for Paul.  Now it seems like he just has to get out of his own, self-doubting way.  (So like Richard Blaze, right?)

Seriously!  When they told Sarah she was in the finale, I just yelled out "WHAT?!"  And then I started to get nervous for Paul.  But when they told Lindsey to pack her knives, my DH said "Oh, they did it like the Miss America pageant." Which cracked me up, b/c really, that's your reference?

I loved the Quick Fire challenge they did this time!  I thought the tag-team approach was pretty cool, especially since they couldn't communicate with their partners except through the food.

Aaannddd...Padma seems to be really picky about how hot she likes her food.  Poor Paul and his overuse or lack of Thai chilis.

UGH!  I hate Sarah!  Does anyone else hate her nose like I do?  She is so scary unattractive, I hate looking at her.  Her nose reminds me of a skull--since we can see right up in it and all.  Yuck.

 

So glad that Paul didn't get kicked out even though Tom kept harping on that DAMN FREAKING ARUGULA!  Get over it, Tom!

did anyone else pick up on the fact that Paul actually won the challenge?  They should have announced that in front of Sarah to knock her off her "I'm on a roll" high horse.  I think the judges are being uber critical of Paul so it's not such an obvious win for him.  we pick on the ones we love. 

I sure hope judges find a bone in Sarah's fish next week!!

I just feel with the final being between Paul and Sarah, there is no competition. I just don't think Sarah is Paul's equal.  I was disappointed in the judges' selection.

I thought Padma teared up when she told L to pack her knives and go.

I wasn't happy with Sarah either. I also was afraid for a few moments it was going to be the girls.

I'm nervous week-to-week for Paul.  I guess I wasn't quite sure how Sarah's dish fit the theme.  IMO, it really was a toss up between the girls.  Although, Lindsey's halibut looked really good!

I hate to admit this but DH has called Sarah Piggy/Pigums all season because of her nose.  So yes we've noticed.

I really wanted Sarah to be the one to go but my friends in Chicago swear that her restaurant is really really good.

FINALLY just watched! I was so sad about Lindsey.  And when Sarah said "yay! The two texans!" I got all "humph you are soooo not Texas anymore!" Haha. 

Ok... So we are MOVING next Wednesday! What am I going to do?? Someone pleeeaaaase save it on their DVR for me!

Yes!  On all counts.  

Very disappointing result.  And if Sarah wins over Paul I will be so pissed!  At least if had been Lyndsay I would've been ok with either winning in the finale.  I think she is badass.  Not as much so as Paul, of course, but way better than Sarah!
