Thanks for this. I haven't run into any of these issues (and I hope we never will), but any information about how these processes work is helpful to me. We have an upcoming meeting to update DS's IEP and I still feel a bit intimidated by the whole process. I really need to educate myself better, not only about what DS's rights are but also what we can realistically expect the school to be able to provide.
