Running low on non EF cleaning products and ready to hop on the wagon to be a greener family. I purchased a few products from this line tonight due to a good sale, and I want to know the good/bad/ugly truth about them as well as if you can recommend something better! TIA!!

Re: 7th Generation line
I don't often use purchased cleaning products. I don't know anything about it in terms of social responsibility and it's a rather large company that makes chemical cleaners (albeit from natural sources) in mostly disposable packaging. That said, I don't think there is anything "wrong" with that line, and it is better (both in terms of toxicity of products and responsibility of production) and they do engineer new approaches like the packaging discussed here: https://www.greenbiz.com/news/2011/03/10/7th-generation-debuts-4x-laundry-detergent-paper-bottle.
Another reasonable company is Ecos/Earth Friendly (which is available in some places in bulk, as in you refill your own containers).
