Hi ladies,
I'm so glad to be coming over to the other side.
My water broke Feb. 7th, while out to dinner with my hubby and family, which was kind of awkward. I didn't go into labour on my own at all, so I ended up with a 34 hour induction, which ended in an emergency c section when my temperature started to spike due to infection from my water being broken for so long, and because the baby's heartrate was starting to do some scary things.
Edward arrived at 3:48am, on February 9th 7lbs, 7oz of complete perfection. We are so in love with him. He is the perfect baby, and has such a calm demeanor, almost never fusses.
We were released from the hospital on Sunday February 12th, and I ended up being re-admitted on the 13th, with a bowel obstruction, a complication from the c section. I ended up in the hospital for the entire week with an NG tube draining my stomach, and IV nutrition. It was the hardest week of my life being seperated from my husband and new born baby. Luckily my body managed to pull out of it's tailspin, and I have been out of the hospital for a few days now. We are staying with family until I can fully heal and get around on my own. I'm hoping to be at home by the middle of next week so we can settle in and put all this behind us:)
I look forward to joining in over here:)
