Hello--
My embryo transfer was Sunday.
I had to go in today (leave bedrest for a few minutes) to get my blood drawn for progesterone and estrogen.
My nurse just called, saying my estrogen was fine (staying on 5 estrogen patches), but I needed to double by progesterone.
This means I will be going from 1 cc 1/day, to 1 cc 2/day.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I am just having such sad feelings, and this is our first IVF...and just feeling like this is a bad sign, if they are doubling my progesterone.
If anyone else has experience with this, I would so appreciate it.
Thank you in advance!

I hope it's okay that I post here. But I just wanted to give you some hope. My second IVF I got my 3 day blood work back and my progesterone was super low. My RE told me to "quick take a progesterone suppository and the second your husband gets home double your PIO".
It sounded so drastic and scary. I was convinced my IVF failed before I even had a chance. Doubling the PIO to 2cc's did the trick. My progesterone became normal and it didn't have any negative effects on the cycle because my DD was born 9 months later.
Good luck!
My progesterone 7 days after 3/5dt was 16. At that point I was on 1cc of PIO a day, and my RE had me increase it to 1.5. I also added in suppository prometrium as a back up since I had them and was freaking out (I used to think my only TTC issue was an LPD).
Did your nurse say what the progesterone number was? I'm just curious. Good luck to you --- fingers crossed the 2cc's does the trick! Don't give up hope just yet, you are still in the game
Shoot--I forgot to get the number and their office is closed today, but I will get it from the nurse tomorrow morning. Thanks for posting!
