Parenting after a Loss

Almost lost my sh*t

DD is getting a molar and it is the worst thing ever.  I hate teething.  She only has 2 so far and it SUCKS!!!!  She hates the teething tablets, and I can only give Mortin every 6 hours.  She has basically cried straight for an hour, while I was trying to play with her, hold her, feed her, etc.  I almost lost it.  She is sleeping now so I can recoup, but man this is so hard!!

  • I am so with you.  Monday night was awful for us.  DS is popping teeth left and right and his normally A+ sleeping habits were down in the C- category.  It never lasts too long though.  You will make it!

  • Teething does stink.  When it's really bad, have you thought about alternating between tylenol and motrin so that you can give her something a bit more frequently?

    This.

This is really a lifesaver.  I hope that they come in fast for you,  I nearly cried from relief the day DS's final molar broke through.

  • Poor girl. And mama! Have you tried an amber teething necklace? K has been a different baby since I got her one.

  • All 4 of Isaac's molars are starting to come in (early, I might add) and it's adding up to a cranky dude.  I second alternating Tylenol and Advil.  My Pedi said I can alternate every 4 hours.  I also give Hyland's teething tablets 4 times per day, 3 tablets each time.

  • I'm pretty sure you can alternate ibuprofen and acetaminophen every 3 hours. Anyway, I'm sorry! I hope it goes fast. We aren't there yet but I remember it with my nephew and I am not looking forward to it. My nephew really liked the teething cookie things have you tried those?
