Removing Infant Car Seat Insert

Anyone know when this should/can be removed? My DD seems to be getting a little squished with it in the car seat but I don't want to cause any safety issues.

Look in the manual for your car seat and it should tell you. Ours said to remove at 11 lbs.

Thanks for reminding me to look at mine too.  It says 11 lbs.  DD was only a half pound away 4 weeks ago.  Oops!  Guess I'll be getting that out of there asap!

I should add that is just for the newborn insert in the Chicco seat.  The head support can stay.

 Same thing! I have the Chicco Keyfit and it said 11 lbs. Still have the head support in there.

i took  mine out about two wks ago...LO has a big head!

Thanks for posting this, I had no idea! Since my LO hit 10 lbs 3 oz last week I saw this just in time!
