39 wk appt

Yesterday was my 39 week appointment. I'm now 100% effaced and 1cm dialated. I'm having my next appointment next weds (2 days passed my EDD) I'm hoping DS tries to break free sometime next week so I don't have to get induced, if he doesn't then I'll probably be asking to set up an appt at that appt. What happens when you ask to get induced?

Just got back from my 39 week apt.  I am 1.5 cm and 50% effaced. We scheduled my apt for next week and she said if I make it to that apt (which I am certain I will) they will go ahead and schedule me an induction for sometime in the 41st week and we will keep our fingers crossed that I will go into labor on my own before then.
