Hello Ladies
Connor turned a year old 3 weeks ago. It's so hard to believe! Of course, DH pokes fun at me because I say he shouldn't be a year just yet. I'm 22 weeks along already, which seems even harder to believe. Last week I was having some spotting and went to the hospital for some tests and an ultrasound. Everything seemed fine. I even had a check up at my OB's office and all was normal. I've had a little more bleeding off and on, but they keep telling me everything is just fine. Of course with C being born 6 weeks early, this concerns me. I never had any spotting/bleeding with him. I'm also irrationally worried that she will be IUGR like Connor. I just have this nagging feeling that something is wrong.
Did anyone else have spotting or bleeding in your second pregnancy, but not your first? I'm so concerned I'll end up with another preemie. And I know it's silly to worry (especially when doctors are assuring me all is well), because I have no control over what will happen.
Sorry this turned into a vent.

A friend of mine had some spotting this week too, she's 24 weeks with her 2nd.
They told her that the outer part of her cervix was slightly dilated, but that her higher up it was nice and closed, so everything was fine! I guess this happens more often in 2nd pregnancies. It sounds like maybe this is what is going on with you?
