I have to the dentist. He filled a cavity two weeks ago and it is getting increasingly painful. I told the dentist that I had to check with O/B fist. But no answer. I am tempted to just go in to dentist-WWYD!
I think I'd go too to be honest. The toothache is going to be no fun with a newborn, and you're already in your last week so it probably wouldn't be a bad thing if baby decided to come
I'd leave a voice mail with your OB just so they know, since they aren't answering.
I would go for sure. My only concern would be laying on your back this late in the game, but that is because I had a habit of passing out when I was on my back for too long.
I would definitely go because if it gets really bad the pain will send your BP a lot higher. Plus, can you imagine a very bad toothache during labor? Hopefully you can get it taken care of today!
I was on bed rest for 2.5 weeks before my LO arrived . . . my advice is to go.
Just make sure that once you are home you lie on the couch or in bed on your left side . . . that should make your blood pressure come down.
I had to cancel a hair appointment due to my bedrest and it was hard to reschedule after my DD was here. A dentist appointment is for a medical reason. I would just let your dentist know that you have Pregnancy Induced Hy[ertension in case he/she needs to vary any medication they give you.
