First of Two Milestones this Week

Today was the first of two milestones for us this week. This day last year, we were told that DS had passed. My screaming, the ultrasound picture, DH's face... they were all burned into my brain for such a long time, but thankfully those things are all cloudy now and I can mostly only remember the good things.

Yesterday afternoon, I kept thinking about how DS kicked me quite a bit when I was at Panera for lunch that time last year. Last night, I kept thinking about how I was finally doing his laundry (at 38w2d!) that night because we'd need it soon. I loved washing his take-home outfit and was so amazed at how small it was.

I am glad today is over... I am trying to look forward to Thursday to celebrate my favorite little guy's birthday and happy life.

No point, just needed to ramble~

Big hugs!! I'm glad some of the intensity of that day has faded somewhat for you. I hope you are able to truly celebrate your son's life on his birthday- surely his was a life worth celebrating!
