VBAC after C/S

Hey ladies. So I was wondering for those that have attempted or will attempt a VBAC post c/s were you told to wait a certain amount of time in between pregnancies? I am pg with #2, at 5.5 months pp and was going to be a great candidate according to my MW for a VBAC, but not sure if this will change things. I will obviously ask her at my first appointment, but in the mean time, was curious as to if anyone else had input.

My OB felt comfortable with letting me try a VBAC and my kids were born 12.5 months apart.

Every dr/midwife has different policies. Some are ok with 12 months, some want 18, some want 24 for VBAC. If it's important to you I would ask around to different MW/OBs.

My first two were fifteen months apart and that automatically disqualified me for being considered for a VBAC in my office's practice. Their minimum time between c-section and VBAC was 22 months.

It varies greatly between providers...I would also ask this on the VBAC board to see what some of their experiences were/are!!

My OB wants at leat 12 months between pregnancies for a VBAC and would prefer 18 months. I didn't want a vbac so it wasn't a problem when I got pg 6 months pp.
