I did IVF for my daughter and I'm missing the control and the knowledge we had regarding each step! We're doing a few rounds of injectibles with TI, because that's all our insurance will cover, and I just triggered this morning. The nurse I had several days ago said to have sex 36-48 hours after and the one this morning said to do it exactly 36 hours later. That's the plan right now, but I'm having a lot of pinchy, tingley feelings in my ovaries and I'm wondering if that's what they feel like when the follicle releases the egg. Now I'm worried that waiting until tomorrow night could be too late if I'm ovulating now. My eggs are (most likely) crappy, so I assume they don't have a long shelf life.
If you did a TI cycle, how long after the trigger did you wait? I know I'm obsessing, but thanks for indulging me!
Re: Any tips for the timing part of TI?
That was our protocol (follistim+hcg+TI) and we did the following:
Sex the night of the trigger and the following two nights. We also tried to hit it the second morning after the trigger, so it would be about 36 hours. Worked 6 out of the 7 cycles we did it.
