update from the nestie granny

Ok I got some info a bit wrong but you know how men can be lol.

Everything really got started Tues. night.  I saw them and I kinda knew something was up....she said she was having some very strong braxon hicks but I thought they were the real thing.  They kept her up all night long.  She went to the  hospital about 4pm yesterday afternoon and got sent home around 8pm.  The dr said she wasnt progressing but Bobbi was back in the hospital by 11:30pm.

Josh called me at midnight and I was back in the waiting room by 12:30am.  Josh kept coming out to give updates and by 8am she was pushing.  We were getting nervous by 10:30 Josh finally came and said she was crowning but not getting  much further.  11am me and Bobbi's mother snuck into the hallways to stand outside her door evesdropping but the midwife kicked us out and told us to go back in the waiting room.

We paced the floor for another 30 minutes when Josh came out and said she's here.  We had to wait another 30 minutes before we could go in to see Bobbi.  She told us the details..... Savannah Marion was born at 11:08am after 3 hours of pushing weighing 7lbs 6oz & 21 inches.  She has a ton of hair and is 100% spitting image of Josh.  She is absolutely gorgeous & perfect. She very long delicate feet and very big eyes.  I havent held her yet because she was still in the nursery getting cleaned up and stuff.  I needed to get home to get some sleep.

I'm going back in a couple of hours so I can hold her and take some pics.  None of us have been able to really take any pics.....Josh & Bobbi got a few good ones with the help of the labor nurse.  I need to be back home no later than 8pm so I can go to bed....I have to leave my house about 4:30 to catch the 5:30 train to NYC.

I will try to post pics Sat....dont think I will have the energy to do it tonite and wont be home at all tomorrow.
