How much party food?

DD's birthday party is Sunday at 1:30 in the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese - I know, pray for me ;)

Pizza and drinks are included for the kids and we will have cake, but I don't know how much food to order for the adults.  There should be around 16 adults.  We will provide drinks for everyone, but how much other food should we order?  Would you even want to eat at 1:30 at Chuck E Cheese?  I was thinking 4 large pizzas should cover it?

TIA - I am really bad at estimating/planning this stuff!

Re: How much party food?

  • I would probably order 2-3 slices per adult.

  • 4 large pizzas for the adults sounds good to me. I might also do veggies and dip or maybe a salad for the adults too.
  • We would probably eat at that time. I would plan on 2-3 slices per adult. I like the salad or veggies idea too.

  • Ha, ds's party is there Sunday too and we're having issues deciding.  We'll have 15 adults and it's at 4 so right around dinner time since it lasts 2 hours.  We've ordered 4 pizzas, 2 of the sampler appetizer things, and a veggie and dip tray.  I talked to the party person there today and she said we can always change it the day of if we need to to either more or less.  I may add another veggie tray but am undecided.
