Who else is not ready???

I feel like this is the story of my life, but I am SOOOO ready to have the baby here, but our house is no where near ready. Our crib does not arrive until November 27, and besides clothes, car seat and stroller we have not bought anything because we don't have the time or energy since we are putting 100% of our free time into the house.

At this point we are living in a perpetual renovation zone and I am hoping that it will all be over by the end of November but I keep having dreams and thoughts about the baby coming early for some reason and we would not be anywhere close to ready if she comes before mid-December...

oh yeah if this baby comes in Nov I will so be thrown for a loop!  I am sure we would be fine but I really hope he waits to at least mid Dec as well!

Honestly - I dont know that I felt ready for a baby until this past week.

It does sound like you have the basics though - just in case. Take it easy and whatever you do don't stress too much! It all will fall into place - even if the baby comes early.

We are not even close to being ready.  We just moved a few weeks ago and have been trying to get the rest of the house in order first.

OMG, you have no idea how un-ready I am. We have a rental property and our tenant of 3 years gave notice two weeks ago, and the place is a freaking disaster. It needs so many repairs/replacements, not to mention cleaning and yardwork, it makes my head spin. So I basically have 30 days to get the place habitable and find a new renter before I'm 38 weeks, which is when DS came.

 Oh, and the nursery isn't done, and I haven't packed for DS or myself, and I haven't hauled out and cleaned up any of the old baby equipment, and this is clearly why I need to be sitting at my computer right now responding to posts on the nest instead of taking advantage of DS's naptime to be at least somewhat productive.

I'm almost ready now, but I definitely didn't feel ready at your stage either.  Somehow it all comes together!

I felt that same way at 28 weeks...then I started making lists and got into hyper mode and now I feel much better. Now I don't care what is left I am getting pretty tired of being preggers...

We don't even have a car seat yet.  Or crib bedding.  Or our furniture set up.  LOL.  So, I'm in the same boat as you!

I was the same as you...then one weekend I was really motivated (nesting maybe??) and took care of pretty much everything.  The only thing we have left to really do right now is put together our swing and pack-n-play.  It's going to hit you one day and you will just go crazy.
