Frustrated...

Does anyone ever get so frustrated you just want to sit down and cry?!?! I introduced myself a few days ago, but I got a new name now.  I have a beautiful little 6 year old SD.

This morning BM called freaking out on DH saying she was going to take DH to court.... COMPLETELY out of no where. Things have been fine until the past 6 to 8 months since she met her new bf. She's always been spastic but it's gotten worse since she's been with her new bf, and there's no way to do anything calmly with her. After DH gets off the phone with her, 5 minutes later the phone is ringing again. Here it's the bf calling threatening. Ugh! There's times I just get sooo frustrated. This has been about the 3rd time in less than a year she and bf said they were going to take SD away from us and take us to court and blah blah blah. So DH said ok, lets go to court and right away she backs down. Something to hide maybe?!  The only one that is suffering is SD and she's to blind to realize that! 

Sorry I know this is totally random. I just have a billion things running through my head, and it truely breaks my  heart because I see how upset SD gets because of BM.

    and this is why God created voicemail. She can leave these ranting messages, he can take them to the judge.

    Yes.  I have felt the same as you. SD used to do this to me.  It took me awhile not to let myself get worked up over her drama.    And I'd come here and vent and everybody would simmer me down. 

    What also helps is I started not allowing SD's drama to become mine too.  She can rant and rave and threaten all she wants, but in reality, you don't have to react to it or stress until it become reality.  They want you to react and they want to stir you up. Just don't.  Show them your calm, cool, easy breezy side and you come here and vent all you want. 

    You are not alone.

    Next time she threatens court tell her you think it is a great idea.  Ask her if she has already filed, if not when can she do it?.  That way everything will be in writing and there will be no more drama. 

    Why is your DH answering calls from her bf? Do you have caller ID?  Let him leave voicemail then present them in court. 

    Do you guys already have a CO?  Stick to that and you are happy sailing.
