DD will be here in just about 6 weeks, and while I am not going to be out jogging with her anytime soon (c section, too litle for jogging), I have seen some jogging strollers with a car seat adapter and wondered if anyone has any experience with them? Could I go jogging with DD when she is a few months old if I use that? I know the general rule of thumb is 6 months old for jogging but I didn't know if having the special adapter helped make this earlier. Also, just wondering if anyone had a jogging stroller, single with adapter compatible for graco, or double with or without adapter I could borrow. Thanks.
Re: Double jogging stroller, or single with infant carrier bar anyone?
I have a BOB Revolution jogging stroller with the carseat adapter that fits a Graco Snugride carseat. I used the adapter until he was 6 months old. According to the manual, you're not supposed to jog while using the carseat adapter, but I did. (Bad mom alert! Bad mom alert!) I went slowly (honestly, not much faster than a quick walk) and only on a paved/smooth path. I watched him carefully, and the baby did not move around any more than he did when I was walking with the stroller- it was a very smooth ride. I think this is one of those things where people are going to have different comfort levels.
