Am I missing something?

When I picked DD up from daycare yesterday another mom was picking up her son. He is just a week or so older than DD- so around 17 or 18 weeks old? She was talking to him on the way out saying that she promised they would go to the park. And then commented to me and the teacher that she was going to take him to the park to get all of his energy out so he would sleep well that night. HUH?? Maybe I'm missing the boat on this but I have no idea what I would do at the park with DD except hold her....she's still a weeble wobble and doesn't sit and I'm not going to lay her on the ground.

Enlighten me please.

Maybe he has an older sibling? Or maybe she just likes to walk him around outside, fresh air is good even for babies
