RE appt update

Firstly, I like the my new RE much better. He listened to me and talked to me instead of at me. He also really liked my FF charts.

So, the plan...because of my allergy to contrast dye he said the only way to unblock my right tube would be surgery. Also anytime my O had been monitored it has been on the right side. So it is possible that is the only side I'm Oing from, but the only way to tell that would be to monitor it every month. So he is suggesting we go forward with IVF.

I have to redo a few blood tests, and the sono-hystosalpingiogram because it has been over a year since I had them done. He did an u/s yesterday and I am about to O....on my right side.

So if all goes well, I should hopefully be pg by April. My fingers are crossed, this is not an inexpensive endeavor and I don't know how many times we could afford to do it. I am very nervous and excited.

I'm so glad your new RE is able to put your mind at ease a bit. I hope your IVF journey goes smoothly. I will be meeting with my RE on Monday to discuss IVF.

Yay for good RE's! Having someone you trust makes all the difference. I hope your IVF goes perfectly and that you get a great Easter gift.

We are going to go to the IVF. He said even if we do the surgery he can't guarantee how long the tube will stay open. And there is doing the surgery if he would have to turn around and do it again in another month or so.
