    Wish you good luck and congrat'z on the new addition to your family.  Remember to take it easy and don't overdue it accept all the help that is offered to you.  :)

    I have had three  and although this advice is TMI I wish someone would have said something to me.  The inactivity and the pain meds can cause some bad constipation.  If it has been several days and stool softeners, water, juices etc aren't working; don't be afraid to take a suppository.  It should give your relief within 30 minutes.  I only did this with my third c/s and wish I would had done it with the first two instead of suffering for hours and days.

    Good Luck! T&P are with you! And ask for a prescription for stool softeners before leaving the hospital! I didn't with mine - but I know better this time!
