Feb. 16th @ 8:57am Camden Carter finally entered the world at 8 lbs 6 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long

after going a week overdue and checking his fluids I ended up being induced...I was scared to death because for one it was not what I wanted at all and for 2 I was so scared of having a c-section. We went in at around 9:30 Wed. night and they started the Pitocin , I felt nothing for hours and was so scared it wasn't working , around 2:30am the contractions finally started getting really intense and strong...if I were to compared them to my previous pregnancies where I wasn't induced I would have compared them to contractions when I was about 7cm , well they checked me and I was only 3cm ...I lasted til about 4am and asked for my epidural . I went to sleep until about 8am , my sister woke me up she was going to go leave to get something to eat and wanted to have them to come check me before she left "just incase" ... well I didn't think anything had changed but of course I had the epi ...the nurse came in and was like what were you last time you were checked and I told her 3 and she had this dissapointing look on her face and I was like oh great , then she was like well your water busted sometime and you are at 9 now . she said she would be back in about half hour to check again but I felt pressure before that she came and checked and it was go time. She had the doctor come in and in 3 pushes he was out! DH said he is amazed everytime watching and waiting for their head to come out and he said he is so happy that with each kid I get quicker at getting them out and not making him wait to long! haha!! I ended up with a 2nd degree tear ..but it is healing nicely and not to painful! We are so happy to be home with our baby boy , DD is adjusting great and wants to help with everything, DS who is 2 years old , really could care less that there is a new baby except if he wants something and the baby is getting attention! Still some adjusting to do with him!
