A dear friend of mine just had a baby. They literally got EVERYTHING from all three of their registries. They're super stylish peeps and live in NYC and have lots of friends with babies so tons of clothes already, and pretty much everything that they "NEED."
Give me suggestions. I'd like to spend $30-50. Maybe a collection of books or something? All of my favorite things were already on the registry, so I can't really think of anything else. Thanks!
Re: Need baby gift for someone who already has everything.
Gift certificate to their favorite eatery that delivers.
Gift certificate for maid service.
Books are always a great gift, in my opinion.

Miracle blanket (did they register for this? - so many of my new mom friends don't discover this until later)
Oh the Places You'll Go Book - (with a note on what to do with it (have each teacher sign))
I also think classic books are always good. Collection of Curious George Stories. Nice copy of Little Engine that Could, etc. And definitely write an inscription!
iseeme.com has cool personalized books.

Are you crafty?
Get a nice white frame from Ikea and then make a subway tile style art print w/ a nice quote (maybe something w/ the baby's name in it, or lots of other cute ideas on p i n t e r e s t - I like the Winnie the Pooh quotes personally). Just make it in PS or some graphics software and print on photo paper and have printed locally. What's nice is you can change it up simply - maybe do a new quote/print for each birthday for the kiddo that they can just pop into the frame each year? I did this for DD and I'm thinking it will be my go-to shower gift for the future.
Or, get a nice piggy bank and start a "disney fund" or something cute like that w/ your $30 or so already in it?
Also ditto the food service though, that is ALWAYS nice.

Does she have a My Brest Friend pillow yet? I had the Boppy and it was okay, but the MBF pillow changed my life.
I also second the Miricle Blanket and the Soothies.
Also, have you thought of looking on Etsy? There is TONS of awesome, unique baby stuff on there.
