i found this idea on a blog i read and i thought i'd share.  i know i'm always looking for new ways to keep DD occupied!  this was SO easy and she loved it!  i took painters tape and used it to make "roads" on our carpet and furniture.  

i totally STINK at doing pretend play with DD but this was easy for me to get into.  i also had us use blocks to make different "buildings" and turn it into a city.  we made a skyscraper, DQ, wal-mart and a hospital.  then the inner-teacher came out and we made a sign to label each building.

anyways, i just wanted to pass along the idea.  what games do you love playing with your LO?!

These are just the kinds of ideas I need. I'm terrible at thinking of new/original ideas for playtime. We are stuck in a rut of playing memory and building with block sets but I hardly ever have any original ideas. I wish I had some to share! You've inspired me to get more creative though - I promise to share any new ideas I find...
