Difficult DH...Need name suggestions

Hi ladies!  I'm jumping over here from TTGP because we're struggling on names.  We are TTC #1 but this is something that I want to have decided way in advance.  My DH's name is Eddie and his whole life he's been called Eddie Spaghetti.  Of course he hates this and does not want his children to go through this.  He has 2 children already and they're names are Gabrielle Veronica and Anthony Joshua so all of those names are off the table.  I've literally thrown out every name in the book and he's found a way to make fun of every one, which means it's a no.  Grrrr!  I'm getting super frustrated!  Here are the names that he came up with and even then, he's not so sure about them.  Cruz or Dominic for a boy.  The name Cruz really grew on me when he said it and now he's trying to go back on it.  I also like the name Slaton for a boy.  The only girl name we can agree on is Sophie, and I like the middle name Grace but he doesn't.  I need ideas all around for a good middle name for Cruz and Sophie.

Sorry this is so long, but this frustration has been building up and I appreciate ya'll letting me get it out.  Any name suggestions are welcome.  Thanks!

    I don't think it's ever worth getting frustrated over names until you AT LEAST have a BFP (preferrably, until you know the sex). It's totally cool to enjoy discussing names (a lot of ladies on here aren't pregnant, or aren't even TTC), but the minute it causes stress in your life----ditch it. It's not worth it.

    If I were you, I'd cool it on the name discussion. It's silly to get yourself worked into a tizzy over it now.

    As an aside, I think Sophie is darling (if a little overused) and the name Slaton sounds like Satan.

    I'd say put this convo on the back burner for a while. By the time you get pg (hopefully soon!!) and have the baby, you both may change your mind 100 times!

    I also have a difficult DH when it comes to naming.  When I got my BFP we tried to talk names and ended up mutually agreeing to save ourselves some headache and put it on the back burner until we figure out the gender of the baby.  Then we will go for round 2 but at least will only have to pick one name, not two.

    My husband is also being super annoying about names.  Basically he doesn't want to use a name that is associated with anyone he has ever known...so that only leaves us with really weird names, which I don't mind but makes our list very short!  Currently only 1 name for a boy and 1 name for a girl and my last name as his or her middle name.  

     What about Gavin Cruz?
