Trying to Get Pregnant

fluttering in left side

Ok so all day today I have had a fluttering feeling in the lower left side of my stomach. No idea what this is. My mom and oldest sister claim they felt that when they got preg. I'm at almost CD 60 since coming off BC and been having cramps for the past 2 weeks. Taken HPT's twice in the past two weeks last wed and this past thurs and both were neg. Any second timers here have that feeling before?

and before you ask, no, I am not just gassy.

  • This was one of my phantom symptoms last cycle.  I've learned in the last six months that I can't trust my body one iota.  I started TTC, and my cycles went all wacky.  I started temping, and now I mysteriously am a "mouth breather", when I never have been before.  I don't care what "symptoms" I have this cycle.  I won't get my hopes up until I get a positive HPT.
  • I have no idea, but I doubt it's something baby related.

With my c/p I felt pregnant but not fluttery.  And I definitely know when it ended - I woke up from a nap and didn't feel pg anymore.  With DD, I didn't feel flutters until 2nd tri.  Friends of mine have felt movement earlier with their 2nd, but still probably around 10w.

  • Yes, but that was when I was in my second trimester. You wouldn't feel the baby move at 2 months. Sorry.

  • I do not want to bum you out, but I felt a fluttering on my right side on Thursday night, 11dpo, as I was sitting quietly with my sleeping daughter. Like a fish's tail moving through water quickly. And then I felt the top of my uterus twitch. And then I felt a searing knife point digging in for about a minute in my uterus. I was really hoping all of this meant something because it was all unusual--I have no idea what exactly. And then on Friday I woke up with moderately heavy bleeding that has lasted 3 days so far... :-( so, I am not sure if it means anything.
