Ouch! It hurts! I am trying to just keep LO nursing on that breast so he can unclog it. I also applied a heat pack, but still clogged. Is there anything else I can do?
Massage the hell out if it while nursing or pumping. While pumping would be easier I think. You really need to work on t so it goes away quickly. I've already had one this time around and it was killer.

In addition to what other posters have said, I ran a washcloth under hot water and did a compress both before and after each feeding. My LC also recommended the supplement lecithin.
Not to gross anyone out but if you have anything handy that... ahem... vibrates you can use it to massage the area pushing towards the nipple and it may help unclog it faster.
Re: Clogged duct, what can I do?

I had one a couple of days ago and this is what I did.
I massaged it a lot through out the day.
Every time it started to hurt/feel full I would pump and massage it while I pumped.
I also got in the shower and let the water run over it while I massaged it.
Then at the end of the day I let LO nurse on it and then was gone the next day.
Hope this helps
