I don't personally work with her but come across her name in paperwork so I am hoping she goes by Angel
Yes! me too,
There are also some people from Africa and Cuba. I don't even know how to begin pronouncing their names half of the time, let alone trying to spell it. HAH
Another teacher here.. Faculty and staff have pretty normal names. I teach intervention so I see kids from all grades. The oddest names I have are Camri and Camry (yes, I have two of them!), Titan, and Ryquer.

I worked with a lady named Dorcas. I know it is a biblical name, but I just can't get on board with it. She was about 32 years old and very confident, but for some reason I see that name being hard to carry as a child.

I know a Kamri. She is one of the cutest little girls I have ever met. I never would have guessed there were more though.

I know a Dorcas and thought the same thing. Kids are mean.
I'm lurking tonight and usually stick the TTGP board, but I have to post on this one. We had a student last year named Pimpterious! Oh and a few years ago there was a Nosmo King........the mom apparently saw a "No Smoking" sign and thought it sounded nice as a name!
I can't believe people don't think these things through!
