getting ready to bake my induction cake!!!! I have a feeling this is not going to work, but hey, may as well enjoy some yummy chocolate cake while I'm at it, right? Anyone have any luck with it?

Posting the recipe from justmommies.com for those of us still in waiting.

Labor Cake RecipeIngredients:Box of  Devil's Food Cake mix 
1 package chocolate instant pudding
1 12-oz package chocolate chips
1 cup sour creamDirections:Preheat oven to 350.Prepare cake mix according to directions on box.  Stir in chocolate pudding, sour cream, and chocolate chips. Grease two 9 inch round baking pans.  Pour mix in pans.  

Bake in oven for about 45 minutes to an hour.  To be sure cake is done, insert tooth pick in center of cake.  It should come out clean when cake is ready.

Apparently the overload of chocolate has something in it that leads to contractions? Not totally sure if it works- like I said, not putting a lot of faith in it, just a fun owt to test out and pass the time!

I never heard that about chocolate... ha. Id be in labor already if that was the case. I ate an entire jar of hot fudge the other night.

Holy Moly can I just say that as a lover of chocolate this is by far the richest chocolate desserts I've EVER had?? Process with caution ladies. And if dd is anything like me- no baby tonight just a lot of breakdancing in my belt and a hope that mommy will treat her to another dessert soon!

I made it and while it didn't actually induce labor it is soooo delicious it is worth making anyway!!!!
