f/u to Beach Gear Post with Costco Info
Thanks to everyone who responded to my beach gear post last weekend regarding what items we needed for our beach trip. A few people recommended checking out Costco. I'm glad you did this because DH usually does all of the Costco shopping without me so I never know what they have and he doesn't usually look at the seasonal aisle. I'm listing the prices and links to Amazon for reviews in case others are looking for similar items for this summer. I can't do clicky's since I'm using Chrome.
We ended up getting a Lightspeed Quick Shelter which is similar to the linked Lightspeed Quick Cabana at Amazon which got really good reviews. At Costco, the Quick Shelter was $40.
We also got these Tommy Bahama beach chairs. I know a few of you recommended getting a back-pack style chair so that was helpful advice. These are $28 at Costco vs. Amazon's $68.

Lastly, we got the Tommy Bahama beach cart which was $50 at Costco (vs. Amazon's $80).

Anyway, I'm happy with what we got and I was glad to see that the Amazon reviews for all of the items was pretty good. Thanks to those that recommended the cabana and the chairs.

Well, thank you for looking out for me.
I was discussing my post on the board with DH and I said "some people said they are minimalists and don't bring much to the beach so I'm not sure if we need the beach cart". He's like "yes, we need the beach cart". Then I started reading the reviews and there's all these men reviewing the beach carts saying that it saved their back from having to carry a ton of gear to the beach. I just had to laugh.
