Chart Help Please

This is my first cycle with 100mg of Clomid (the last 3 cycles, I was on 50mg). My temp just seems wacky and I'm wondering if it's me, or the thermometer. I was sure I had ovulated on or around CD11, but now since my temp shot up this morning I'm thinking we totally missed our chance and I ovulated later. The open circles are weekends when I woke up later than normal; and of course I've missed a couple days.

TIA!

  • For me, the link takes me to my own chart.  Without looking at your chart, I can tell you from my own experience that clomid causes me to have more erratic temps.  The higher the dose, the worse it was for me.

  • The only thing that has helped me to figure out when I am peaking for sure, without any ambiguity is the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. I was really confused with temps, mucus and OPKs before I started using it. It seems expensive but to me it has been well worth it. Just my two cents, although it's not answering your question at all.

  • Thank you!! I have some Target brand fertility tests that I have just never used. I think next cycle, I will definitely try one just to see if I am gauging right.

  • The CBEFM is really great.  You can usually get one on ebay for cheaper.  Good Luck!
  • Definitely use OPKs if you can or the CBEFM...I actually use both, just to be sure.

I've done 50, 100, and 150mg of clomid...and at one of my ultrasounds, my chart was showing a temp shift on cd9, so I asked the dr about it. He said that clomid somehow makes your body ovulate later on in your cycle...that it was unlikely I would have o'd on cd9. Most commonly they see ovulation between cd 14 and 20. As it turns out, I didn't ovulate that cycle at all.

Don't know if that helps or not, but without seeing your chart, my best guess would be maybe you did ovulate later than cd11.
