How long did you keep your baby swing out?

I want to pack it up but my hubby does not want to give up on it. It takes up a lot of space and she is starting to lean fwd it it and that scares me! so when you did you pack it up?

I think we had it out until about eight months, but stopped using it around 6-7 because V was starting to wiggle and grab the bar while swinging and I was worried she'd tip it over somehow.  It was a sad day when the swing went away.

I took ours down when DS was 8 months. He occasionally would take a nap in it up until then. He was never he type who wanted to swing for the fun of it.

With Megan it was around 6-7 months and with Ryan it was 8 months and that was only because our swing motor finally died!
