If you have a double Bob jogging stroller, do you use this as your regular stroller as well? Do you take it to doctor's appts, the grocery store, other places, etc? It is SO big, but it is a nice stroller and I love it. My husband tried to put it in my SUV once and said he couldn't fit it in there, but maybe we need to take off the wheels? Is it ok to maneuver it in public public places? If you have a double Bob jogger and you *don't* take it in your car and to other places, what else do you use? My DS1 will be about 13.5 months when #2 is born, and I will probably wear the newborn quite a bit (although I am not sure how DS1's reaction will be yet), so any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Re: If you have a double Bob stroller...or if not...
How is that one for going places like the grocery store or doctor's office?
I love my double BOB (Revolution). I mainly use it for working out, walking the dogs, zoo, anything outdoors. I sometimes use it in the grocery store or stores like Target. I liked it for quick trips because I could pop the infant seat onto the stroller and toss the toddler in the seat. The double fits through a standard door, but I wouldn't take it into clothing stores.
My single stroller has an extra seat that I've used all of twice (Peg Perego Skate). I'd wear the baby and push the toddler in the stroller or I'd put the toddler in the Ergo on my back and snap the infant seat into the stroller.
It's a great stroller and handles amazingly well. My friend has the City Select and has had some problems with it. It handles fine as a single, but doesn't push nearly as smooth in doubles mode.
I have BOB duallie. I also have a Baby Jogger City Select.
I LOOOOOVE my BOB. Love it. I use it all the time. No, I do not take it to doctor's appointments, the grocery store, or to the mall. I use my Baby Jogger for those errands. I use the BOB to walk my daughter to preschool, to run (I am a big runner so do many many miles with the BOB), and take it to outdoor things like the beach, zoo, and botanical garden.
The Duallie does fit in my car (Honda Pilot) and in my DH's car (Acura TL). If you couldn't get it in the back of your SUV then I think you were likely folding it wrong. It folds pretty flat - no need to take the tires off. But it is a two step fold and I have had friends think that they were folding my BOB when they were really only doing it halfway.

I have the Bumbleride Indy Twin which is amazing. It is more narrow than the BOB and handles really well. The width of the BOB and the extra money you had to shell out for things the Bumbleride came with (infant car seat adapter, rain shields etc) were the 2 reasons I chose the Indie Twin.
https://www.bumbleride.com/strollers/indie-twin-home.phpI have one but I also have a city select. I use the double BOB for everything outside. We take it to the park, zoo, festivals, disney world. My oldest is tall and its the one stroller he's pretty comfortable in but now that he's 2.5 he doens't ride in it as much. I have several friends that only use a double bob even at the pedi office etc. It fits just find through a regular door even through you think it's to big for it.
It does fit in my 2007 lexus RX but I have to put the front wheel up on the back of the sit. It really is an awesome stroller and so easy to steer even with 2 big boys in it now.
Do you plan on running? If so you really need to get the double bob. It's super easy to run with even with 2 kids in it. I can still run with my sons in it and they weight 36lbs and 23lbs. Even with that weight I can push the double bob with one hand.
The only reason I brought the city select as well is b/c my oldest was in school 3 days a week so I had DS2 a lot by myself so I used it mostly as a single stroller. The city select is nice but it doesn't steer as well as the bob.
A regular grocery store it would be fantastic, but I live in NYC which the aisles are not a normal width in the rest of the country and I wouldn't dream of trying to pushing it there. I don't think there is a better double for size though. But it is pretty expensive for a 2nd stroller. I got mine used.
