Well, I'm heading to labor and delivery - hopefully not pointlessly! I've been leaking clear, watery fluid, and I have no idea if it's amniotic fluid or just increased vaginal discharge. I called my OB hoping that she'd just have me come into the office to check, but she's sending me to the hospital. I'll keep you all posted! No contractions yet, so I kind of feel like this isn't the real thing, but we'll see.

(As an interesting side note - yesterday evening I had a prenatal massage (I've been getting them throughout my pregnancy), and since I've been having contractions every night for almost a week, she worked on a few pregnancy accupressure points. So if this is the real thing, I supposed this counts as my endorsement of accupressure as a way to get things moving.)

So, this is the real deal! Baby's coming! He/she is facing up, and my OB says there's about a 50-60% chance that I'll need a c-section - so please pray that baby turns!

A baby face up but head down can still be delivered vaginally, it's just not as easy to push out. G'luck!
