Anybody else still working?

I know my EDD is one of the last, so that's probably part of the reason, but i feel like everybody else is either off work waiting for labour, at the hospital, or snuggling with their little one. 

I'm done next Friday (due the following Tuesday 2/28) but I feel like today is dragging, and next week is going to be torture. 

Anybody else still working?

"I'm still here" seems to be my mantra these days.  I'm now 4 days past due and still working.  Every day I come in and people can't believe I'm still pregnant.  

I have a desk job so it isn't too strenuous and I would rather be busy than sitting at home waiting.

I felt the same way but today is my last day of work & I felt like this week was torture!

I'm still working too and it stinks!  I am so uncomfortable and have so much pressure it's definitely tough to get through the days.  I work in a lab too so I am on my feet at least half the day but hopefully it helps move LO along.  I am also working up until next Friday the 24th since my due date is the following Monday.  My OB doesn't seem to think I will make it that far but who knows!

I'm still working, and it's miserable. I have a desk job, but sitting at my desk all day makes me swell up like crazy.

DH and my doctor are starting to push me to set an end date. I think if I'm still pregnant at my appointment on 2/22 (40w1d), I'll ask my doctor about writing a note to have my maternity leave start either that day or the next. It's nice to know I've only got 3-4 days left.

I use the term "working" pretty loosely!  I think I am more distracted than I was in the week or two leading up to my wedding date!  I can't seem to concentrate more than an hour without drifting back onto the bump!  I will be working up till labor begins though.

I am still working. I would rather not be working but I know that I need to keep my mind busy to not go crazy. I am 39 weeks 1 day. I am completely exhausted before I even hit noon and barely dragging myself through the day.

I will continue working until it is baby time.

This is how I feel, and if I'm feeling this way now, I cant imagine next week! ugh. I purposely decided to stop working just before my due date cause I didn't want to be sitting around at home, but now I'm starting to wonder if that would have been better.

At least i know i'm not the only one! (Miserly likes company I guess!)

Due date is the 27th but I have  CS on the 21st, my last day was Tuesday of this week. But thats because I work as a CNA and my Dr pulled me. Didnt want me doing that much anymore.

Also, 4 days past my EDD. I really hope my LO comes this weekend, which would make today my last day. I am working from home & taking naps between calls

Today's my last day at work actually. I'm being induced Wednesday morning (is LO doesn't make it out on her own before then). We're closed Monday for presidents day so technically I'm only taking one day off (Tuesday) beforehand. I have to be at the hospital at 4am wed. and I just know I'm not gonna sleep Tuesday night do I wanna rest as much as possible the day before!

I'm still working too... due on the 27th, hoping he doesn't come any sooner than that week. I'm just working up till he's ready to come out. Unless I go passed my due date then my OB and I will have to start talking about induction... so we'll see...

Yeah, same here - due 2/27. Not sure why I feel so ready to be done this time - last time I was prepared to go over, this time I feel so much more done, at work and just in pregnancy! I'm working from home on Monday, but in the office T-Fri - the working from home until I deliver if I go over... ugh. It'll be tough, and I'm VERY unproductive right now.

after a relentless sinus infection, emotional meltdown, and general frustration/being emotionally drained DH pulled the plug on my last week of work, and I seriously could not be happier that he did. I went in on monday to tie up "loose ends", spent tuesday sending in any extra last min. things I could think of, and have spent the rest of the week with my feet up, sipping tea, and emotionally preparing to meet this baby and integrate her into our busy young family. In case you were thinking about doing the same, I can honestly say- It was much needed and I didn't even know it!

I am still working as of today but I think I am heading out early.  Things just don't feel right today.

I am....luckily I can work from home, and plan to up until LO pops out.  My due date is the 27th - if i decide to stop working early I get paid less and I'd rather not do that.  I work in NYC and the commute is an hour and a half which I cannot do.  Working from home has been so much easier on me, and I have tons of loose ends I still need to tie up...luckily I am pretty close to finishing that stuff off.  But yes, I am still working for now..

Yup and I am only taking time off while I am in the hospital.

I work from home as an online teacher so I make my own hours to a great extent. And work and my "home" life blend together. I also have a really good relationship with my students so when I am back and have calls/online chats they know I may be a few minutes late and that grading for the first few weeks will be a little slower than usual.

I plan on working until I go into labor.  My due is the 22nd.  I took today off because my feet swelled up really bad yesterday and I honestly couldn't handle another day of people gawking at them and giving me their "expert" medical opinions.  So I'm going to run errands, work on the babys room, and get some peace and quiet.

Today was my last day. If I don't go into labor on my own by Monday I have to go in for a RCS on tuesday.  So I chose to start my leave on Monday the day before I have C/S.  Let's hope I go into labor this weekend tho!!  I want to try for a VBAC.

I am not, but I worked right up until it was time to go to the hospital.  Seriously, my water broke at work.

I'm still working.  One more week, but my due date isn't until the 26th.  I am a high school teacher and so it has been really hard to walk out every day for the past week not knowing if I will be back or not.  I have to leave plans and the room set up every day.  

While I am REALLY tired every day that I leave work I am glad that I am still working on some level.  It keeps me busy and it keeps me up and moving.  It is winter here which makes walking outside impossible so I would rather be active and moving with the students instead of walking laps around a mall! 

the kids come and check on me every morning to see if I am still there.  Some are happy some are disappointed!
