Most of DS' school friends have older and/or younger siblings. I want to invite the entire family including siblings and parents 1) to make it easier for them to attend and 2) there are only 9 kids in DS' class including DS so it's small enough that it's not a big deal. We're renting a room for the party, so we have plenty of room, and we're doing our own food, which makes the cost pretty minimal for each extra person.
The only problem is that I don't know all the siblings' names, so do you think it would work to just address the invite to "Classmate and Family?" Is this totally tacky? I suppose I could just try to catch all the parents at pickup/dropoff and ask, but that's next to impossible even with small numbers.
Re: Bday party invite question (sibling names)
Agreed.
If you want to be sure that you're being clear I recommend putting: "Siblings welcome" directly on the invitation.
Many people don't pay attention to how an envelope is addressed but will see the specifics of the party on the invite.
