Rowan Aisling Danger Klumpp ("Danger is her middle name!" but.. her second one so she can drop it if she hates it) was born this Monday at 5:11 p.m. a week and 2 days past her due date and after 23 hours of induction/labor (cytotec, then cervedil, then breaking my water, then pitocin). The full lonnnng birth story is on the birth stories board under Our little girl: late but lovely.
We are home, we are doing well, we are still mostly sane, and she is the Best Thing Ever.
The worst thing about delivery? Transition. The worst thing about recuperation? The DTAP shot... my shoulder is still hurting two days later.
Re: Rowan is here!
Congrats! Glad everything is going well so far
I totally agree about transition being the worst.
