Dear crazy billing lady,
Two weeks ago you insisted that my insurance had suddenly without notice to me created a significant deductible and coinsurance for in-network care. You also almost started an arguement with my wife over what day of the week it was (My wife was right. This is a fact, not an opinion.)
When I called your office to deal with this issue someone hung up on me. When I called back I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then informed by an electronic voice that billing closed while I was on hold.
So please forgive my skepticism and lack of patience when you now declare that my insurance has suddenly and without notice to me (in mid-February, the most logical time for changes) significantly increased my copay. I understand that it is difficult for you, the billing specialist, to understand that my copay should be set by my insurance and not by your office.
Is it possible that you could request some additional training so that you could learn to not be rude and to DO YOUR JOB RIGHT?
Love,
Kershnic
Re: Dear crazy billing lady
Yep. It was Thursday, and billing lady really believed it was Wednesday. DW didn't want to argue, but she also couldn't really play along and pretend it was Wednesday! (She was saying we had to clear the issue by two business days later, which she claimed was Friday.)
