Diapers - Luvs vs Target brand

Opinons please.  I have always used Pampers swaddlers and then cruisers and love them but they are so expensive and with 2 in diapers and daycare - I am trying to find a way to save a little money.  I am on my last pack of Pampers for both girls and Luvs and Target brand seem similiar in price so please let me know what you think of both and if you have used Pampers, how do they compare.  I love how soft the Pampers are and I have never had leak issues.

I actually liked the Target ones better than Luvs, they seemed a little less like a plastic bag. I used them for about a month but I had to go back to Pampers because they were rubbing her raw!

I am not much help since I have never used the Target brand, but I do use the Luvs brand and have no issues with them. At night I do use the huggies overnights though. They are the only ones that he will not wake up soaked with.

I haven't personally used Luvs, but we tried Target brand and HATED them! They leaked and they just didn't feel or look comfy! I have a friend who swears by Luvs, but I like the Pampers too much to try to switch.

I like Luvs better than Target, but my mom prefers Target over Luvs for my niece.  The big difference that I see is that Luvs have stretchy tabs, which I love, and Target has elastic in the front and back.  If only one of them had both!

I used to love the LUVS but they have changed their diapers and I got a new box the other day (the dfference is the new ones are all white) and they gave DD a horrible diaper rash, my friends little boy who is a few days older than DD had the same thing when she tried them

I've used both Target and Luvs, I think they're very similar, like them fine and haven't had any leak issues.  Certainly not as good as Pampers but we only use those when grandma buys 'em.  Too expensive with twins and being a SAHM.

IMO, Luvs are WAY better than Target brand. I have used both.

The Target brand does not have stretchy tabs, and the plastic would sometimes leaves raw red marks on DD's legs.

The Luvs have stretchy tabs, never left marks (other than elastic ones on her legs), and I just think they work better over all.

We have also used White Cloud & Parents Choice from Walmart. The White Cloud ones are good, but I don't like the Parents Choice as much. They aren't as bad as the Target ones though.

I use Luvs and have gotten along fine with them.  The only thing that sucks is that there is a huge difference between size 2 and 3.  I'm using size 2 right now but they are starting to get a little small.  I tried using a size 3 but the top of the diaper practically went up to his armpits!

I've tried both and I prefer Luvs.  Like others I didn't like the tabs on the Target ones and they gave DD a bit of a diaper rash.  We started using Luvs when Addison was about 3 months and I've had no problems.  I think I have had two leaks and that was because of user error, I didn't remember to change her as soon as she woke up.  I know how you feel, because I also have 2 in daycare.  Luckily my oldest is potty-trained though.
