I think the name Josie is adorable, but I'm not a big fan of Josephine. I've never been one who's all about giving kids a name that's just a nn, but what do you think? For some reason, I just can't seem to ditch it off my girl list.

I am luke warm as Josie as a stand alone name. To me it works about as well as Katie. Do people do it? Yea. But will most people assume Josie is short for something? Probably.
I like Josephine but if you don't like that I have seen Jocelyn and Josette as formal names for Josie. I think they are all pretty. Josie is adorable, just a little cutesy...
