Do I need to use a softener on rinses too?

Just wondering if I need to use a water softener on rinses too or just the wash cycle. Also, do I put it in the dispenser or directly in the machine? Thanks!

    Just the initial wash, I think.

    The main wash in the detergent dispenser. no need to add to rinses. you are adding the softener to make the detergent work easier.  no detergent, no need. Big Smile
