I intro'd here awhile ago, but I am a pretty regular poster on 3T, so I never really followed up on this board. As we've just hit the three year mark, and are embarking on our IVF journey in the near future, I feel like I would like to become a part of this board as well. If you don't want to read all the detail below, you can drop down to the last sentence to get a quick summary, since this is a freaking book!
I am 31, H is 33. We have been off BCP since 2/2009. I have an LPD and progesterone deficiency. H has moderate male factor. I have had three Clomid IUI's (December 2010, January 2011, and August 2011) and one Follistim IUI (January 2012). I responded well to Clomid, but H's count was 2-3 million post-wash each time, making our success rates much lower. With our Follistim IUI, H had 12 and 16 million sperm post-wash (!!!), but I only had time to develop one mature follicle.
The RE told me that because of my high AFC (30+), he can't really increase my Follistim dose too much without fear of over-stim (I was only on 25IU for 11 days). On top of this, I had a strong natural LH surge, so they had to trigger me quickly, with only one 18mm follicle, and couldn't give me time to allow the other two smaller ones that I had to mature. He offered me one more inject IUI with Lupron added to supress my natural LH surge, but he highly recommended moving to IVF at this point. I had a second opinion, and this RE also agreed to move to IVF. Because I pay almost $1,000 OOP even with insurance coverage for the inject IUI's, we opted to give up on IUI and move to IVF. We are currently saving the $22,000 we need to do shared risk (we don't have any IVF coverage).
I did have one surprise pregnancy that ended in m/c at 8 weeks due to triploidy.
So in summary - 3 years TTC, LPD, progesterone deficiency, male factor, 1 non-treatment pregnancy with miscarriage, 4 IUI's, moving to IVF in 2013 (hopefully sooner if finances fall right), currently trying without treatment while saving the money for IVF

Forced break due to DH getting spinal surgery in August 2011
IVF - January 2012: BFN
FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!
I recently moved over here as well. You can only handle the "what can you tell me about clomid? oh, never mind that IUI #1 ended in a BFP, thanks for the help!" posts of 3TC for so long... but I'm still over there too. After posting there for over a year, it's hard for me to make a clean break.

January 2012 IVF~ Flare protocol 10 ER/ 9 mature fertilized with ICSI/ ET- 2 Grade A Blasts/ 4 frozen= BFN
Febuary 2012- -Endo Biopsy/ MTHFR diagnosis

November 2012- Charles was born by emergency C-Section

Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.
