Hi ladies!

We had our first ultrasound this morning at 5w6d after IVF#2 and we saw 2 beautiful little sacs! One baby is measuring perfectly and we were able to see the heartbeat; the other is measuring a bit behind and we couldn't see too much of anything. Apparently I have a retroverted ute so this makes things harder to see on the u/s this early.

I'm finally breathing a bit easier now that we have seen one beautiful little heartbeat :-)

Has anyone  had experience with 2 sacs, but only one heartbeat at this stage? Just when you think the waiting game is over...another week wait! Haha.

We only saw two gestational sacs with yolk sacs at 5 weeks 3 days.  We went back at 7 weeks 3 days for the heartbeats.  Congrats!

Congrats!  You're still on the early side for seeing HB, so it's entirely possible the other one could show up by your next u/s.  It's also possible for the embies to implant a couple of days apart from each other and one be further "behind" the other.

Good to see you back here! Congrats. I had my first ultrasound at 6 wks 4 days and i had one baby w a heartbeat and one sac that was empty that stopped growing early on. I was just excited to have one. Good luck!

Congrats! 

We had our 5 1/2 week u/s this morning and just saw a sac with a yolk, and my doctor said that at this stage that's all they expect to see.  I have to go back in a week and that's when they'll look for a heartbeat and fetal pole.
