2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? Graco storllers I love those and not sure the maker of my crib is come to think of it.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? Girl clothes if its a girl, otherwise more boy clothes lol

Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? 9 months takes forever to get here I know but it will get here I promise. Yes you will know how to take care of your new LO and no they do not come with an instruction booklet but done worry your going to be the best mom ever!!

What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far? Only my mom knows and she was thrilled. I enjoy having an excuse to sit on the couch at night.

How did you tell your parents (new grandparents)? Any creative ideas on how to break the news to family out of state? Just said "guess what." No out of state family but will be sending out of town brother and sil a picture with DS wearing a big brother shirt.

If you had an easy baby, are you worried that #2+ will be harder/more fussy? What about if you had a hard baby? YES! DS was so good but if I do have a difficult baby I will solider on and rely on DH for help as it will pass.

What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? SAHM
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Buy a new house and another horse.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? Graco travel system--no idea about cribs as DS used a hand-me-down.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Excited--new crib and furniture. Least-new crib and furniture (lol).
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Exercise. I fully credit feeling great and staying in shape while pg with DS from daily workouts (yoga, walking, light weights). Make the time for you everyday to do it, see it as a way connect to your baby and new body.

When is your next appointment? Is anything special happening at that appointment? March 16th. Listening for the heartbeat.
What are you looking forward to this week? Moving along and getting one week closer to an US.
Wednesday confession? Texted my DH and told him I am not in the mood to cook dinner and he is on his own.
Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? A few waves of nausea. A cold washcloth, cool fan or some cool fresh air help. I tend to get all hot and sweaty when nauseous.
What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far? Just happy that I am pregnant. When I called my insurance to sign up for their pregnancy program the lady on the phone must have congratulated me almost 10 times, seemed a little much.

I emailed a picture of my cat, they call her their grandkitty, with the caption "I hear there is going to be some competition due in October." I had them open the email with me on the phone. It was great.

What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Clothes are the most exciting, to be honest, the rest seems a little overwhelming right now.

When is your next appointment? Is anything special happening at that appointment? First appointment scheduled for Feb. 27th at 11 AM. I don't know for sure but I assume we'll have an ultrasound (I'm high risk).

Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? Not yet... yesterday afternoon I had waves of feeling like I was carsick but it hasn't happened today.
What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far? I'm just so happy to be PG, this is something I've wanted for a long time and I'm surprised and shocked it happened so quickly (only 2 months TTC). We've announced it to pretty much our whole family, and the funniest reaction was from my MIL who spent the first 15 minutes on the phone saying "OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!"
Will these cramps and gas pains ever go away? I sure hope so... I've been waking up each morning with cramps (feels like my uterus is stretching, like you would stretch your arms when waking up in the morning) and I'm terrified each time I go to the bathroom that there will bleeding. So far there hasn't been any.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Invest a large chunk of it, pay off student loans with the rest of it.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Most excited to purchase cute clothes and nursery decorations! Least excited about purchasing the boring stuff: a breast pump, etc.

Wednesday confession? I've been eating my sandwich out of my lunch as a mid morning snack, and going down to the cafeteria to get lunch.
Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? I get nauseous if I get too hungry, but it's not bad at all. When I had m/s with the last pregnancy, nothing helped. I tried EVERYTHING. Ginger, pressure point therapy, sour candy, B6... nothing helped.

GTKY: Tell us something cool about yourself. If you met me, you'd never think it, but I'm a huge nerd. I play Dungeons and Dragons or nerdy board games almost every weekend. I also play a lot of video games.
What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I work for a large company (Fortune 50) doing HR/admin work for an IT department.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Buy new cars, pay off house, go on awesome vacation. Save/invest the rest.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? We got our crib from Walmart and it has worked really well. Our stroller was a hand-me-down and works well also. Get whatever works for your style/lifestyle/budget. No reason to break the bank IMO.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Most excited to purchase cute baby clothes. Least excited about furniture/big ticket items.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Pay off all of our debt, travel and start our own restaurant (DH is a chef!)
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Clothes are the thing I'm most excited for... not sure if I have a least excited yet.
When is your next appointment? Is anything special happening at that appointment? My first appointment is March 6th. I am so excited to see our little bean sprout on the u/s!
What are you looking forward to this week? Max and I are going to breakfast and bowling with our good friends. I am so excited for that on Saturday! We also have a cupcake date with some other friends tomorrow!

Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? I just have nausea and the horrible feeling in the back of your throat that you could vomit at any moment. I haven't vomited yet, though. I find that sparkling water and sprite are great. The bubbles help to settle my stomach, and eating throughout the day (small meals) seems to help a little.
What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far? I love that I am PG. It's my second time, so I am more in tune with what's happening. But, I am also sicker with this one, so that part sucks. The best reaction we've had so far was from my parents. We put Max in his big bro t-shirt, without telling anyone. My mom looked at him, then yelled, "REALLY?," then ran over and hugged me for what seemed like an eternity. They knew when we started trying and have wanted another grandbaby since Max and his cousin were one.
Will these cramps and gas pains ever go away? They will. But they will be traded for other fun symptoms like round ligament pain and constipation. PG is the most wonderful and disgusting thing your body will ever go through.
How did you tell your parents (new grandparents)? Any creative ideas on how to break the news to family out of state? See answer above. We put Max in his big bro shirt and sent a picture of him to my ILs, who were in Hawaii at the time.
Any belly bumps yet? (PIP) My bloat just looks like fat, but I am starting to round out and harden. I am sure that I will have a bump in another month or so.
What?s your favorite music? Alternative Rock. Right now I am in love with Gotye, The Black Keyes, Muse, and my favorite is Ben Harper. I also love Classic Rock: The Beatles, Led Zeplin, and Reggae.

He was great during the day, but he hated (and still does) to sleep. I imagine my next baby will be hard during the day and will be great at night.

What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I am a freelance graphic designer for a major software company. I will take a few weeks off after the baby is born, and then resume this work. I work from home.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Pay off debt, buy a forever house, and have some money in savings.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? I love the IKEA crib because it sits on the floor. Max wasn't a climber, but I imagine the next one will be. I am getting the BoB Dualie Revolution stroller because I jog. I love that thing. It feels like you are pushing a feather, but is super sturdy. We have a McLaren umbrellas stroller that is wonderful. I will keep that for shopping trips.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? We don't need much. I am most excited to purchase my jogging stroller. I currently have the Baby Trend jogging stroller and it is a POS! I am going to fork over the big bucks for a BoB.
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Keep a journal. I wish I had. Write down all your feelings; good, bad, indifferent. Record movement and other milestones. Don't eat for two. You don't need to. That extra weight is a PITA to lose. And drink milk. It helps with the heartburn.

What are you looking forward to this week? I was looking forward to my second beta this morning but since that's over and done with (and fantastic!) I'm just looking forward to the weekend
Wednesday confession? I've been using being pg (just found out Sat and have been terrified of something happening) as an excuse not to workout. Truth is I'm just lazy, haha.
Who has m/s? The Crinone I'm on keeps me queasy 'round the clock

What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? How ridiculously excited MH is. It's pretty adorable.

If you had an easy baby, are you worried that #2+ will be harder/more fussy? What about if you had a hard baby? My first LO has been really easy. I'm a little bit worried about LO #2 being the opposite! haha.
What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? Software Engineer. Yes, I went back after my first LO, but reduced my hours which has been nice.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Pay off debt and fix up our house!
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? The UppaBaby Vista stroller is the best baby gear item I purchased! Love it.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? I won't need much. Just clothes! I'm most excited to buy a new bed for LO #1 and design her new bedroom.
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Those first couple months with a newborn are HARD (even with an easy baby)! It's such a huge adjustment to go through. You have to become selfless and it seems like dads have a bigger problem with this than moms do. Having a baby is definitely going to change your marriage, so making sure you're a strong couple before the baby is born is beneficial.
This is my first time participating in the Octomom check-in. I've requested to be added to the October 2012 blog. Not sure if that's the same or not. So, please add me if I'm not already on there.
ETA: I'll be finding out the sex of the baby as soon as I can.

Wednesday confession? My maternity clothes are nicer than my regular clothes. I graduated from college about a month before having DD so I don't really have any professional clothes. My normal jeans are the kind that have the holes already scratched/torn in them. So I've been wearing maternity pants to work for 4ish months because they look more professional.
Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? No m/s as of yet, thank goodness. With DD I ate crackers, preggy pops, and jolly ranchers religiously. Oh and pizza too (lol - it really did help)

Haven't told anyone yet, but we are going to announce it to parents in person first, by having DD dress in an 'I'm going to be a big sister' shirt. We will announce it to close friends/family that way too. And then post a pic of her in it on facebook to let everyone else know.

DD is a high needs baby but is super sweet - she just needs to be held or with you at all times. I hope that #2 is just as sweet but maybe a tad less needy. What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I am an engineer and I will go back to work after the baby is born (probably after 2-3 months of maternity leave - I wish I could be a SAHM though!)
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Probably take a vacation somewhere sunny, warm, and beach-y.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? Strollers - City Mini all the way. For cribs - we just bought the cheaper crib/dresser combo from Walmart. I am glad we did though because DD has decided she likes to chew on the rail of her crib when she wakes up at night.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Most excited - a new wrap/sling. Least excited - a new pump. I had trouble keeping my supply up after coming to work. I am blaming the pump. Even with domperidone my supply decreased. It just wasn't effective at emptying me properly. I think we might end up renting one.
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? If you decide to find out the gender and DH does not want to know so he doesn't find out, make sure you turn your speaker phone off before talking to your mom when you are a week away from having the baby. Lol! My mom ruined the surprise for DH - she felt so bad! Also, if you are going to BF use lanolin after every feeding for the first few weeks.

Enjoy every second of pregnancy. It goes so fast then it's all over before you know it. I went into labor very educated on my options and had a wonderful birth experience. Also there is not much you can do to screw up your baby in the beginning so don't worry you'll do great. Plus the first baby is the guinea pig anyway.

If you had an easy baby, are you worried that #2+ will be harder/more fussy? What about if you had a hard baby? DS is super awesome usually, so it will be hard to adjust to the new baby. Especially if they are a fussy one. DS had reflux, so he had a short period where we were in he!! dealing with him, but once we found out what it was, he's been amazing.
GTKY: Tell us something cool about yourself. I was first on ice skates when I was 2 and was a skater for a big portion of my life. I used to teach, but stopped once I got married and had to move. I just went back a few weeks ago before BFP with DH and DS and it was awesome to get DS on ice skates. He didn't keep them on long, but it was adorable
What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I work part time and love it. SAHM really isn't for me, but I do love having the best of both worlds. We have to move in June so I will have to give up my job, but I'm hoping to find something comparable. If not, I might go back full time. It all depends on what's out there.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Not sure. Probably get a new car, new house, save for my kids' futures, go on vacations.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? I have all Graco stuff and liked it. I had a Graco travel system, but we never loved the stroller and ended up getting a BOB, which is amazing. If you are a runner, you need to have it! We have a delta crib from Target that was the perfect style and color we wanted, and it was on the less expensive side. DS loves his crib!
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? I'm most excited about getting a double BOB stroller to take both kiddos out in. Also crib bedding. I'm probably least excited about getting all new furniture.

I'm not kidding. I gained 50 lbs while pregnant with DS and was so unhealthy and HUGE. It was the most miserable and uncomfortable thing I ever experienced. You have control, and you can do it healthily. Don't just live by the motto "give the belly what it wants." It's just bad new bears when you do. Make good choices for you and the baby

Wednesday confession? I know I should be glad, but kinda bummed I don't have MS/nausea because I would feel pregnant (if that makes sense). Maybe I just feel that way because we haven't had an ultrasound yet to really confirm the pregnancy.

If you had an easy baby, are you worried that #2+ will be harder/more fussy? What about if you had a hard baby? I can see it both ways. In some ways it may be better to have #1 be an easy baby since it's your first and that's such a big change. But on the other hand, it may be better if #2 is an easy baby since you will then have 2 kids to take care of at the same time.
Tell us something cool about yourself. I LOVE to travel and one of the items on my bucket list is to fill a passport.
What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I'm an accountant and will go back to work in January.

Eating all the time has worked for me best. Like small things: nuts, cheese sticks, fruit. Sometimes, I will get nauseous anyway, but if I don't eat frequently, I would be nauseous all the time. (I am actually getting tired of eating.)
What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far?
I write almost daily letters to the baby in my baby blog. I think I enjoy that the most so far. And the funniest reaction was from a friend who knew we were TTC and he said he started crying for us in his meeting.

Yes. I don't cramp anymore and no gas pains at all, not since week 4.

I work as a software test engineer. I hope not to, but I might have to.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I think it says something about the state of my (first) world, when I think a million dollars is not a whole lot of money. We'd donate about 25% of it, and then pay off our house, buy a new car for the baby, fill the nursery, and then send his parents off on a long vacation. Invest whatever is left.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing?
Most excited: furniture, diaper bag (though that's more for me). / Least excited: nursing pads and diapers.
Any new aches and pains? The last two days I've been getting leg/hip pain. In my head I know it's too early to by RLP, but it sure has me scared that it's starting already.

Wednesday confession? I ate an onion bagel with cream cheese for lunch. I dipped the bagel right into the cream cheese instead of using a knife to spread it. It sounds disgusting now that I type it up, but I promise I'm the only one who will be eating the rest of the container.
Who has m/s? Me. Ugh. So far it still comes and goes and peppermint tea has been helping a lot, but I'm really hoping Zofran is not in my future.
What remedies have worked for you? Peppermint tea this time. Zofran was the only thing that helped last pregnancy.
What have you enjoyed most about being PG so far? Thinking about what our family will be like when LO gets here. Also the other night I showed DS a pea to show him how baby was. He was so interested and had lots of questions for me about how the baby eats & grows. So cute.
And if you?ve announced, what?s the funniest reaction you have gotten so far? Only told DH & DS so far. DH was like "really? seriously? That's great." Then he didn't say anything else until about an hour later. That's when he got excited. It was like it needed to sink in.
Will these cramps and gas pains ever go away? Unfortunately mine never did with DS. I was just sort of mildly uncomfortable the whole pregnancy. Maybe this time will be different.

What about if you had a hard baby? DS had some health issues early, and was definitely more on the high maintenance side until about 8 months. I'm hoping this baby will be easier, but if not I know I can handle it since I've been there done that once.

What do you do for a living? Work in the finance dept. of an insurance company.
Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I'll go back. I loved maternity leave with DS, but really both of us are happier now that he got to go to daycare/preschool to meet other kids and do crafts with teachers who are way more creative than me.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Save a chunk for DS and the new LO to go to college. Spend the rest on cool vacations for the kids in the future.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? Don't have a recommendation on cribs, MIL bought DS's and we're re-using it for this LO. I loved my Graco stroller because the carseat snapped right in. We live in the midwest though so the only time we used our stroller was at the mall.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? Girl clothes if its a girl. Also the PNP and cloth diapers - so cute.
What are you least excited about purchasing? Um I guess all the stuff that they only use for a short time - bouncer/swing/NB clothes
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Trust your mommy instinct. I promise it's good even at a day old, and even if a Dr. says repeatedly there's nothing wrong. We could have saved our DS two weeks of tummy pain if we'd insisted on getting him tested for milk/soy intolerance and reflux right away instead of listening to a bad pediatrician say it's just colic/an immature stomach.

2nd-Timemamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? I really like the Ikea Gulliver crib. I use the Chicco umbrella stroller and I love it. I have their travel system too, but I rarely use it, and I never even once put the car seat into it.

Pay off my mortgage on both of my houses, buy my parents a home closer to us, stash a total of 10k in a several hiding places, invest/save the rest for retirement and my kids for college, wedding or down payment on a home-whichever they choose.
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? We have the Graco Lauren crib which is not a bad little crib for $180 (with the matching changing table for free!). We have the Chicco Cortina travel system with the KeyFit 30 car seat. It's been great, but really, I do not plan to use the seat until my daughter is 30lbs....that's ridiculously HEAVY to carry like that! We'll be going to a convertible car seat VERY soon!

Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Everyone is different. Do not compare yourself to anyone, and do not compare your baby to anyone else's baby- you will drive yourself nuts wondering if you/your baby are normal! Most likely- you both are. If you feel like something is out of the ordinary please talk to your doctor or your baby's pediatrician. He/she can reassure you and address any concerns you have...that's what they're there for!
Also- do no stress out if you are not "enjoying" every minute! Some times things just don't go exactly how you planned. Some times things get tough! It's not all smiles, giggles, and snuggles. There will be moments where you are miserable-but those moments end and you will be the happiest you've ever been in your life. Your little baby will amaze you every single day. You will be tired, but you will make it through!
If you ever feel that you are going through PPD or PPA, do not hesitate to talk to your doctor.
And lastly-DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP, especially from your DH/FI/SO. Even though you may be close, you are NOT super woman (hate to break it to you!).

Wednesday confession? I have been eating like absolute crap. I know everyone says that, but yuck. I gained 60 lbs with my last pregnancy and I'm 5' 4" and was not underweight to begin with. It was ridiculous and something I need to be more careful about.
Who has m/s? What remedies have worked for you? None so far, I didn't have any with previous pregnancies, so I'm hoping for a repeat of that, but these horror stories about the 6 week mark are a little daunting!

Probably seeing my DH's excitement (it's his first). We have told a couple of close friends, and my funniest reaction so far was when I sent a pic of my test to a friend and she said "it looks vague, take another one." I then had to explain that "a line is a line!"

GTKY: Tell us something cool about yourself. I broke my ankle one year ago today, which wasn't very cool at the time, but it's a fact! I now have 2 screws in it and a crazy scar.

I am a paramedic, and I will need to go back to work after the baby is born for financial reasons (could survive with one income, much more comfortable with 2). Also, I absolutely love my job and coworkers, and would miss it a lot.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? I think about this more than I probably should. I would buy a decent sized house and a vehicle that can comfortably fit 3 children, pay off all debt, put most in savings, and probably go back to school.

Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? You don't have to feel elated about your pregnancy at all times. If you feel more scared than excited, that's okay. There's no "right" way to feel. I remember people asking me in previous pregnancies "aren't you so excited to be a mommy?" and I remember feeling like I was losing myself in becoming a mother. I think people are afraid to admit those fears because there's a social expectation that you should spend your whole pregnancy sitting in a rocking chair gazing lovingly at your growing belly. If you feel a strong bond with your unborn baby that is wonderful, but if you don't, you will still be a great mom!

What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM? I'm a SAHM now and have been since #1 was born. The plan is for me to stay at home until #3 starts full day school.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Buy a new house, vacation, savings
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend? We had a Graco travel system, then a Baby Trend Sit-n-stand, then a Chicco side-by-side stroller. Like them all. They aren't the best on the market, but they were in our price range. Cribs - I don't remember what crib we had. We bought it at BRU though.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing? Hmm, well, it's #3. He/She doesn't need a thing
Second time moms, what would you tell a first time pregnant mom, now that you have been through a pregnancy (looking for answers other than enjoy it & try to relax)? Don't expect labor to go as planned. Hope that it does, but don't get too bummed out if you medically need a c/s. In the end, a healthy baby is all that matters. I've been there. I cried b/c I needed a c/s (DD turned breech at 38weeks and didn't flip back). In the end, it wasn't worth it for me to get upset.

Being pregnant is the best part! I was happy to make it past the point that I miscarried my last pregnancy. My sister lives with us, so I knew it was going to be hard to keep it from her. So we told her on Friday. She was very excited.

My mom knows (she was visiting when I got my BFP) for my dad and my in-laws, we are going to tell them closer to 12 weeks by sending them all a picture of our DS in his "I'm going to be a big brother" shirt.

DS was a pretty easy baby, but has never been that great of a sleeper. I hope and pray that #2 is a much better sleeper.

I was born and raised in Alaska.
What do you do for a living? Will you go back to work after baby is born or be a SAHM?
I am a medical biller. I work contractually for 2 companies, so I work from home. I have done billing for lots of different kinds of doctors, but my favorite have been OBGYN and Ultrasound (what I currently do!) I will continue to work after the baby is born and he/she will stay home with me for awhile, and then go to the same daycare as my DS goes to now.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Pay off the small amount of debt we have, and then invest the rest. (OK I would probably also go on my dream vacation, and stalk up on all the craft items I could every dream about having!)
2nd-Time mamas, what cribs and strollers would you recommend?
My DS hated being in his carseat, so it made our travel system pretty useless. We quickly sold the stroller part of it, and bought a nicer lightweight stroller. DS also would never sleep in his crib, so we just ended up co-sleeping so I don't have any great recommendations for cribs. My dream stroller for 2 is a Phil and Ted.
What are you most excited to purchase for the new baby? What are you least excited about purchasing?
Not really sure. We kept almost everything from my DS, so we are pretty set when it comes to baby items.

Don't get to stressed out about every last detail of how your birth is going to go. I might have a little bit different outlook, but if my doctor came in and said he/she felt something was wrong and recommended intervention I am going to listen to him/her. They are the one that went to medical school and know the signs that something might be wrong more than I might in that moment. I don't say this because it happened the first time around (I actually had a pretty text book easy delivery besides being in labor for 23 hours) but because I have worked closely with OB's for years and know first hand how frustrated their job can be when they are trying to do what is best for their patient and the patient has the idea that the doctor is just trying to push something onto them.
