Dr. Recs - trying this again

I'm really needing to get a few things checked out, but need to find a family practitioner for myself. Can anyone recommend anyone in the L/CP or North Austin area?

    My OB just referred me to Dr. Valerie Chavez today and said she is great.  She is near the RR hospital though, not sure if that is too far.

    This is probably not convenient for you, but I saw Dr. Carlson on Wells Branch when I lived up North.  He is really great.
